A Sort Of...

July 18, 2004

It took me a day to think what am I going to write here. I am too busy and my mind is working on the other thing. We've been developing a system for our company. Too many things to do, so little time.

From the quite place of Ilaya, where I came from, I arrived here in the busy city of Cebu. I worked as a computer programmer before at Dapitan City Sara Lee Outlet. The business was manage by a friend of mine (I did know somehow that we are related to each other). Then on the early days of March 2004, while I was repairing a computer at the Prosecutor's Office at Dapitan, a close friend of mine, working at Cebu, called me and told me to apply to the company where he worked. So that's it! After a few days of waiting I was being called for an interview. I was very lucky on that day that the other company I previously applied also called for an interview. A good luck indeed, but it made so confuse about what to choose and I have to think hard how to be able to decide right. And my time is running out.

After a day of thinking, I decided to accept the offer of my friend, to worked with him. A week later, I was being trained at Bais. When I heard about the place I don't have any idea about it, how far it is and what kind of people awaits me. And then that's it, I travel blindly. I'm not afraid, I have so much money to spare.

I was trained in Bais City for almost three months (unusually long time for a trainee like me). Bais is just a small city with a large plantation of sugarcane on it's outskirt. With so few business establishment I can compare it to my place, Dapitan.

After a long waiting, I was being assigned with my friend in the IT Department. We travel to Bayawan. Nearly four hours from Bais and two from Dumaguete. I was bringing two bagful of my things so I felt so tired when we arrived at Bayawan. As what I observed, Bayawan is bigger and busier than Bais. And I also met some lovely ladies in that city. We stay there for three days, then we began our journey to Cebu.
So that's it! Well I guess I have to stop here, my mind is completely blank. See you in my next nonsense article!
Bye!
