The Long Journey

Whew! What a long journey of mine, visiting from place to place, city to city. I often found myself stumbling on unfamiliar scenery, strange place and meeting strangers. It was not a leisurely travel, I’m not a tourist here, and it was a part of my job. I have been staying in Cebu for three months since June. The main office of our department is located in the city and I have to stay in the place to do my job, mainly in programming and researching. But my job also described me as a travelling employee, so I have to travel often, to the company’s branches and offices to fix some problems related to my job. Last September (middle of September), I was assigned to transport a computer unit to Dipolog City. I’m so glad! Dipolog is just a 30 minutes travel to my place, Ilaya, a part of Dapitan City. It’s a chance to be home again. On September 17 at 11:00 pm I started my journey. I was expected to be back before October for another assignment to Valencia City. But shortly, while I was in Dipolog this plan was changed. There’s a big problem in Pagadian that need my attention immediately. Pagadian is the last in my list but this time it’s the first. From Dipolog I proceed to Pagadian. After all, I was still glad to go there, ‘coz it’s my first time to go to that place, and again a chance to meet new faces and lovely ladies on that place. I stayed for nearly a week in that city before going to Sindangan. It’s September 29, I stayed one night in Sindangan then go back to Dipolog. This time, I decided to go directly to Valencia. But I have to meet my fellow assistant in CDO, he’s from Butuan City. My travel to CDO was so exhausting, but I have a nice sleep on that place that night. October 2, afternoon, we proceed to Valencia City, stayed there for three days then go to Davao City. We have two branches on that place. We also visit Panabo City branch. October 11, we are at Valencia again. The next day we executed our last stop at CDO for a trip back to Cebu.

I was in a hurry while posting it so it lacks flowery words. Maybe someday I can post my full experience on that travel. It’s not really easy to travel a far place for a very long time but I love to travel. I end this article here. Have a nice day!
